What is the "new paradigm"?

The new paradigm is a new way to approach complexity and change.

The old paradigm response to complexity is to specialize and focus on methods, which leads to one-off solutions that ironically increase complexity. In our experience, this is the typical response to complexity in the world today and very often fails to meet the underlying challenges.

The new paradigm response to complexity is simplification, which entails identifying fundamental, repeating patterns and responding flexibly based on systemic relationships. This is the response at the heart of FT's thinking and services.
